Professional Options Trading Masterclass (POTM)
If you’re here, it means you’re interested in learning more about the Professional Options Trading Masterclass (POTM). Well, at least, you’re interested in hearing what I have to say about it.
Before I talk about the POTM, I want to go over the basic structure of the education provided by Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management (ITPM):
ITPM offers mentorship programs with real professional traders who have been successful in making BIG money in their careers. These mentorship programs run for 3 months and you have a selection of mentors all around the world to learn from.
However, it would be silly to just offer mentorship programs without a base foundation. This is true for the student and the mentor. The mentors want to know the student understands the basics of portfolio management, things that aren’t worth teaching over and over again with 1-on-1 attention. The students would probably want to get an idea of what the program is about before spending multiple thousands of dollars.
This is where the online content comes in. There is the:
Introduction to Professional Level Trading (IPLT)
Professional Trading Masterclass (PTM)
Professional Options Trading Masterclass (POTM)
Professional FOREX Trading Masterclass (PFTM)
Here, I’ll be talking about the POTM.
The POTM talks about how to use options to minimize your downside while multiplying your upside. It is a great program to use with the PTM and assumes you already have a strong trading process.
I would not recommend the POTM for people who haven’t taken the IPLT and the PTM.
However, if you’re already an advanced trader with a strong trading process of your own who is looking to leverage your returns with options, then this program is for you.
The POTM talks about option basics which you can probably find in any general website that talks about stock options. But before I get into this, you might be asking, “What is a stock option”?
If you want to learn about the basics of options, you can find a lot of that material online. It’s fairly known information.
A stock option is a contract that allows you the right to buy or sell a stock for a specific price at or before a specific date.
This contract goes up and down in value based on some complex math. But just know that this contract can go up and down MORE than the actual stock. So if a stock goes up 20%, the option’s value can go up far more than 20%, even 100%, 200% depending on the set up.
However, POTM is valuable in that they talk about how professional traders view options.
Most of the basic technical aspects about options are free. However, the content on how professional traders use options to multiply their gains while significantly limiting losses is something I haven’t seen done anywhere else very well.
If you know a lot about options, POTM is actually even MORE valuable because they dispel a lot of misconceptions people have about options.
Again, the POTM isn’t meant for people without a strong trading framework. If you want that, I recommend the PTM. And if you’re starting out, I recommend the IPLT.

Take the PTM
Learn how to understand the economy so you can find amazing opportunities in the market to fit into your well balanced portfolio
Take the POTM
Learn how to use options to manage your risk while also increasing your gains
Take the PFTM
Learn to stop the bleeding and never wipe out while trading
Mentorship
Do a mentorship program with a professional trader to teach you the things that can’t be learned through video.
